Our services begin with a personal, in-home interview with the homeowner and/or clients. It is important for everyone to be involved in this evaluation, from the clients to family members of the client. We believe in a team approach to provide a viable solution.
Following the interview, we will conduct a thorough evaluation of the living space, both inside and out. We will take pictures and measurements in order to collect as much information as necessary to make reliable and accurate recommendations for home modifications. We provide a report of prioritized considerations and recommendations with an itemized cost estimate. In addition to a comprehensive report, we also offer project management services should you chose to begin renovations.

Some home improvements can be easily done and at very little expense. Things like removing scatter rugs, making sure smoke detectors are working, replacing doorknobs with lever-styles or purchasing a personal safety alert device that you wear that will contact help for you if you fall while you are alone.
Bigger changes might include adding railings to exterior steps or interior staircases, or adding a chairlift or elevator, replacing floor coverings with slip-resistant carpet, or increasing the size of a powder room downstairs to a full bath with a modern walk-in shower. We recommend only licensed, bonded and insured contractors that we have personally interviewed to perform any substantial work in your home.
